Libertarian David Montané Stands Out in the Last Segment of Decatur News Online's Voter Guide

The Fat Lady is Warming Up Folks.

The last installment of Decatur News Online ongoing series with the candidates for State Senate District 49 was published today and Libertarian David Montané continued to state his case for Liberty. The topics covered were education, mandatory vaccinations and each candidates plans leading up to the general election this fall.

The readership is encouraged to drop by and read the whole shebang. Here's a snippet from David Montané on Education:

Question: If elected, how do you plan to help to improve public education in District 42?

David Montané (Libertarian):
District 42 has many great schools, both public and private. Parents make all the difference in a child's education. In our public schools, especially those with less parental support, we need to teach more basic life skills, such as nutrition, relationship and citizenship skills, and personal finances.
Not all children are cut out for college, and school is only mandatory to age 16. Throughout the state, we could steer the less academically suited junior high students toward tracks ending at Grade 10, concentrating on agriculture and industry. Many will be more comfortable with this training and become more successful. We can prepare more students for entry-level jobs and cut costs too!

There is a lot of speculation about turnout for tomorrows election and the word up in State Senate District 49 is that turnout will be less than 5%. What will happen in District 42? Will turnout be low? Will that help the democrat candidates or will it help the Libertarian? We'll all find out tomorrow!

Vote for Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and More Freedom! Vote for Libertarian David Montané!
