David Montane, We'll Miss Ye

Straight from the heart like always.

That's what made David Montane a great State Senate candidate and a great Chairman for the Libertarian Party of DeKalb County. This is one of the videos we shot together during his for run for State Senate District 42 way back in March of 2010, a match-up with Democrat Jason Carter in which Liberty did not prevail.

But David did. He went on to become the Chairman for the DeKalb LP and proceeded to introduce all of us to a wide variety of speakers and other motivated small groups that dwell here in DeKalb County. It's been a great run but life has led David away from us to the sunnier climes of Florida.

The readership is invited to attend this months DeKalb LP meeting this Thursday night at the Famous Pub in the Toco Hills Shopping center for yet another unprecedented meeting with our very own DeKalb Libertarians,  the guys and gals from Jason Riddle's American Future Foundation and the merry crew from The Institute for Humane Studies.

Adult beverages are available at the Famous as well as the best damn Tater Tots in Decatur. Join us as we raise a glass in David's honor and maybe even sing a verse or two of "Every Vote is Sacred" as our way of sayin' goodbye.

Fare thee well David, We'll miss ye.
