Greetings All,
It’s hardly news that Saxby plays golf in only the finest venues around the country, $50,000 dollars for a golf weekend! On his salary? Over here at Bludgeon & Skewer we were talking about that way back in the way back in September of ‘08 as we assisted Allen Buckley (L) with his US Senate Campaign. One of our projects was the development of some really incendiary AM radio ads that compared and contrasted the inimitable Senator Chambliss with the man he defeated for his Senate seat, Max Cleland. Sadly, the ad was deemed to incindiary by Allen and he refused to run it, evidence that Allen has far better taste than we do. Still, it’s one of our favorites and is available for your auditory pleasure right here http://sites.google.com/site/bludgeonskewer/Home.
Leopards do not change their spots and neither do corrupt politicians. It is time for change and you should consider the Libertarian alternative in 2010. You can throw away your vote on the Democrat or Republican party candidates and continue to suffer the slings and arrows of their indifference to you the voter. Or you can slap them in the face by casting your ballot for Libertarian John Monds for Governor and the rest of the merry Libertarian crew that will be running with him in 2010.

Greetings All,
Well the payphone is ringing off the hook over here at the Secret Underground Libertarian Command Center (LCC) with the news that good ol’ King Roy is shopping for a new political party as well as quotes from various and sundry waterproofing companies. Fortunately we already have a stellar candidate for the 2010 Governor’s race, John Monds will be the standard bearer for the Georgia LP following our convention next year.
The guys and gals at the LCC have high hopes for the upcoming cycle and we think it’s possible that the public’s general disgust with the Republican/Democrat Duopoly might lead to Mr. Monds breaking the 20% vote barrier and freeing the Georgia LP from the chains of Georgia’s 1943 Jim Crow Ballot access laws. In the meantime we’ll microwave some popcorn and see if this story has any real legs while we devise clever posters for the impending Governors race run-off.
One last note, the Georgia LP is the only recognized “Political Body” in Georgia and will make every effort to field a full slate of candidates for statewide office to support Mr. Monds historic run for the Governorship in 2010. That means a Libertarian Insurance Commissioner, Secretary of State, Agriculture Commissioner, Attorney General and all the rest voicing the need for Smaller Government, Lower Taxes and More Freedom!

A Blast from the Past
Well Whadda You Know,
I was digging around over at the old Bludgeon & Skewer website and ran across some of our first internet political work. I liked it so much I decided to drag it out of the mists of time and deposit it here in the present. Just click on the title of this post and you'll be magically transported back to NOV 08 and be able to hear some of our unfunded political attack ads we wrote, produced and ran against Saxby Chambliss. Ah, the good old days!

Comment at Jason Pye on The Healthcare Insurance Mess
Hey Kids,
I just watched a video clip over at Jason Pye's site with Wolf Blitzer and The Axe man. Sure looks like Wolfie didn't read his copy of the talking points on the single payer mantra. Head over and join the fun, and as always, continue to click on political ads every step of the way!
Greetings All,
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Axemeister wiggle on the hook in the video snippet as he tried to shift the focus away from the simple concept of purchasing your insurance coverage from a provider located in a state with fewer coverage mandates and lower regulatory burdens than your home state.
But why draw the line there? In this electronic age, Switzerland is just as close as Columbus, Georgia and is home to some of the best capitalized insurance companies in the world with all sorts of packaging options. If they could compete in insurance markets in Georgia then perhaps Georgia consumers could get a better deal. As things stand now, we'll never know.
If you'd like to be overwhelmed with a dizzying array of state by state comparisons of the current mess, head over to http://www.statehousecall.org for a detailed look at things like state required mandates, provider regulatory burdens and my personal favorite, percentage of overweight/obese adults.

Hey, Another Libertarian Blog that has current content! Check out Ponytailpolitics.com!
Golly Gosh Kids,
It's an awfully rainy day here in Decatur following on the heels of the Monsoon last Wednesday and there is no way to do any work outside. So it's off to the internet to see if there are any other links I've missed and Voila! I find Ponytailpolitics.com No link back to us over here at Bludgeon & Skewer, but the authoress is a Libertarian and has an interesting piece up on Health care and the 10th amendment.
Click on the title of this post and cruise over and check her out! Please remember to amplify your footprint on the old World Wide Web by maliciously clicking on the ads of political figures and groups you oppose. It costs them scads of money, provides misleading metrics and is great fun!
